Eight homepages,
two grounds.
Eight different structures, not eight colourways of one layout. A, B and C run the dashboard's own glass-obsidian tokens on a flat dark ground. D and E moved to bright aviation stock. F, G and H are the newest set: all three keep D's ticket-stock palette, materials and boarding-pass DNA exactly, and vary only the structure and the interaction set.

D's ticket stock poured into draft A's twelve-column instrument cluster: hero across eight columns, three gauge cards beside it, 10-14px gutters, and the dark departure board reduced to one module in the grid. Modules arm as they cross the read line, the gauges count their real values up, hovering one isolates it, and the board sets itself row by row on scroll.

Draft C's open side rail rebuilt as a permanently-open boarding pass stub, with full-bleed panes running underneath it. The departure board pane is full-bleed dark and carries a column of oversized course codes placed specifically to sit behind the stub: when it passes under, the rail thins, the board reads through it and every ink flips to stay legible.

The whole page as one continuous strip of ticket stock, sectioned by real perforations that tear as you scroll past them and drop their stubs into a ledger in the masthead. The departure board is docked inside coupon 03 and the five passes dock into it one at a time.

Ticket stock on a warm paper ground, with a real split-flap departure board that flips itself in on load and re-flips when you hover a course. The hero pass is glass laid over the board, so the blur has something genuine behind it.

Chart-paper ground with three live instrument faces reading real page state, a checklist that ticks itself off as you read down it, and a logbook spread with a cursor inspector. Glass appears only where content passes underneath it.

The page as a cockpit panel: lit glass modules packed tight on the dark ground, each one labelled like an instrument, hero flanked by three gauges. The densest of the dark three, and the parent of draft F.

One tall narrow column with boarding-pass logic: a main pane, a dashed tear line, punched notches and a stub on every section. The editorial option, and the parent of draft D.

A fixed glass rail pinned to the left with full-bleed content panes running underneath it, so the rail refracts live content as you scroll. The parent of draft E's sticky brief.

- No two drafts share a mechanic. F: cluster arm-scan with a per-section armed count, gauge count-up, :has() hover isolate, board set row by row on scroll. G: the rail senses what is beneath it and inverts over the dark board, a travelling gate marker, a counterfoil strip re-printed from the live section code, a perforation that fills as you board. H: perforations that tear one-way as you pass them, a stub ledger accumulating in the masthead, and passes docking into a sticky board. D: split-flap board on load, two-layer text roll, gate bar, runway centreline. E: self-ticking checklist, stepped brief, three instrument faces, cursor inspector.
- Grounds
- Every ground on all eight is a flat colour. No aurora, mesh, glow, ember, orb or pattern at any opacity. Where glass blurs, real content is physically behind it.
- Copy
- Facts only: five certificate paths, spaced recall, real FAA exam figures, FAR minimums under Part 61/141, thirty maneuvers, endorsements, logbook, key-based sign-in. No prices, stats or testimonials.
- Type
- Archivo 900 display against IBM Plex Mono, self-hosted. Three line-heights only: .86 display, 1.25 headings, 1.5 body.
